Tuscany is described
by the poet Shelley as a paradise of exiles, Tuscany
epitomises the quintessential Italian countryside, its rolling
hills of green olive groves and Chianti vineyards punctuated
by dark cypress trees and topped by perfectly preserved
mediaeval hill towns, none more beautiful than the small and
ancient town called Calci.
Our
Tuscany home rental holiday home Casa Calci is single
storey with a large, private roof terrace affording
spectacular views of the
Pisan
Mountains
and Tuscan olive groves.
Casa Calci was
originally
part of an old tannery and overlooks the Zambra stream, said
to have a run of salmon in the spring. The conversion was
architect designed more than seven years ago with traditional
features of beamed ceilings, cotto floors and internal
shutters to all windows. This is mixed sympathetically with
modern glass and wrought iron along with a fully fitted
kitchen, double glazing, air conditioning, gas central heating
and safety features for your comfort and pleasure.
